Kathleen Torpey Garganta
Bristol Community College
Kathy Torpey Garganta is the Director of Bristol Community College at Attleboro. She is also a former professor of dental hygiene who holds a Masters degree in Dental Public Health from Boston University Graduate School of Dental Medicine. Kathy began teaching at BCC in 1986 and is a graduate of their dental hygiene program. She also was the Director of BCC's Presidential Scholars program and was selected as the college's second Presidential Fellow. Kathy is on the BCC Alumni Board and has held board positions for many volunteer organizations during her career. Kathy is also a professional speaker, writer, and educator with 30 years of experience in dentistry, health, and private business. She has trained thousands of professionals all over the United States and Canada. Kathy is a founding partner in Management and Training Enterprises. Her long list of clients includes universities, K-12 school systems, hospitals, professional associations, and corporations such as Colgate and the United States Postal Service. Kathy specializes in assisting organizations with their communication and professional skills in order to improve their relationships.
