Wheaton College
John is the Director of Business Services for Wheaton College. Wheaton is a premier residential, liberal arts college located in Norton, Massachusetts.
As a senior level director overseeing business affairs, John provides institutional leadership in maintaining and continually enhancing a broad and diverse range of programs and services. His span of control includes risk management, auxiliary services, purchasing, environmental health and safety, conference and event services, real estate holdings, cost-saving and revenue enhancing initiatives, consortial relationships and commission programs. John further supports the College and President`s Council in areas of strategic and master planning, institutional and divisional priorities, and critical program initiatives. In addition, John was the former Chair of the Boston Consortium Risk Management Advisory Group.
John`s career in higher education spans 20+ years in varying management roles, beginning with Northeastern University and having spent the last thirteen years at Wheaton College. John received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1985 and his M.B.A. in 1993 from Northeastern University. John has been a presenter/panelist for EACUBO, NEEIA, URMIA and NAEB on varying operational and risk management topics.
He is the proud father of two children, Brendan and Courtney, and resides with his wife Jeanne, in the Town of Bridgewater. When not working, John is an avid outdoorsman. He also teaches martial arts, is a Boy Scout Assistant Scoutmaster and supports several conservation organizations through committee work.
